In the video, Nadal had just removed his own shirt when a fan came running from the stands, eluding security, hugged the tennis superstar, and then kissed him on the cheek.
Nadal was admirably calm after the male kiss encounter, even saying afterwards:
“For me, it wasn’t a problem. The guy was really nice. “He was a great fan. He said, “I love you,” and he kissed me.”

The man was arrested afterwards and will be charged with trespassing. He may be jailed for one year and fined $5,000 for rushing to the court.
Security at tennis events is under scrutiny, especially after similar instances have transpired. Roger Federer was once rushed by a fan who tried to put a hat on him. Worse, Monica Seles was once stabbed by a German fan.
