Mayweather defeated Marquez via unanimous decision, in  a boxing match that was never close.

The judges decided on the Mayweather win, with the final scorecard of 118-109, 120-107, 119-108. It is clear that the former pound-for-pound (P4P) king is back and is looking to regain his throne. He started his first comeback fight with a win in convincing fashion over the lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez.

“Sugar” Shane Mosley offered a challenge to Floyd Mayweather, Jr. at the post fight interview. The two got into a scuffle before being separated by Golden Boy staff. It is not yet clear who Mayweather will fight in his next boxing match.
