Watch Kanye West interrupt the acceptance speech of Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards below. The country singer won the award for Best Female Video category for the song, “You Belong with Me” and was giving her speech at the VMAs when Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift. Kanye then proclaimed that Beyonce should have been the winner for “Single Ladies“.

Taylor Swift was obviously humiliated as the crowd booed West. To support Swift, they gave her a standing ovation after West left the VMAs stage.
