In Melbourne, a 6-month-old baby in a carriage fell on the railroad tracks and gets run over by a train as her mother reacts in horror. The mother of the baby initially let go of her hold on the carriage, causing it to move and fall on the tracks.

The video shows how all this happened instantly. For just one bit, the mother let go, and the next thing she knew, her baby was falling halfway down into the tracks, still in her carriage. The mother tried to race down to get the baby and stop the train, but to no avail. The train run over the carriage at a speed of 35 km/hr. The baby was dragged more than 30 meters from where she fell.

People gathered to try and check the aftermath, even though it was highly probable that the baby would not have survived. In a miraculous turn of events, the baby survived. Hospital check-ups indicate that she just had a minor bump on her head, nothing more.
