Victoria Beckham will replace Paula Abdul as a judge in the popular reality TV series, American Idol and will sit alongside Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardi, and Randy Jackson.

“Posh” has already started as a judge last Friday for the American Idol opening auditions in Denver. Victoria Beckham has already stated how nervous she is about being an American Idol judge by saying:

“My heart is about to jump out my throat.”

The ninth season of American Idol is set to air in January 2010.
