President Barack Obama has been under fire lately for his reaction to the arrest of Harvard University scholar and African-American Henry Louis Gates Jr. by a white policeman over a break-in misunderstanding at Gates’ home.
Guesting on the “Fox & Friends” morning show, Fox News Channel commentator Glenn Beck said to the world that he believes President Barack Obama is a racist. He also added that Obama has exposed himself as a person with “a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture.”
Glenn Beck further stated:
“I’m not saying he doesn’t like white people,” Beck said. “He has a problem. This guy is, I believe, a racist.”
President Obama‘s reaction over the arrest was revealed in a news conference where he said that he believed the police acted stupidly in the case. Soon after that, he retracted from the statement and even invited Henry Gates and the police officer involved, Sgt. James Crowley, to the White House for a conciliatory meeting later this week.
