Watch the fair play goal video in the Ascoli-Reggina football match in Italy below. The fair play goal video shows Ascoli allowing Reggina to score a goal as an act of fair play and sportsmanship.

But before that, Vincenzo Sommese of Ascoli scored a goal after Carlos Valdez of Reggina got injured and attempted to kick the ball out of bounds to stop play. As shown in the fair play goal video below, Sommese, not knowing this was the case intercepted the ball and set up Mirko Antenucci for a goal.

Reggina players protested vehemently, as can be seen in the fair play goal video, and soon after a brawl ensued. After the brawl had subsided, Ascoli allowed Reggina to score, thus inciting the fair play goal.

Ascoli manager Bepi Pillon said this about the fair play goal:

“We made the decision [to let Reggina score] all together, there is no single person responsible for it. We were locked in the changing rooms for two hours after the game to avoid the protests. There is too much exasperation in Italy, too many interests that force you to look only at the results. It’s not fun like this.”

The fair play goal between Ascoli and Reggina is now being investigated. Authorities fear that this may have implications of match fixing and not sportsmanship. The fair play goal of Ascoli and Reggina will surely be a piece of evidence that will reveal a lot in the investigations.

The 13-year-old basketball player is Canadian and is the son of former NBA player Mitchell Wiggins and an Olympic track star from Canada named Marita Payne. Apart from dunking over other basketball players, Andrew Wiggins also has post moves and can score with baby hooks in the paint.

Many expect the thirteen-year-old basketball player/phenom to be offered contracts already, as is rumored with most young and talented basketball players in the US.

Watch the worst X factor performance by twins John and Edward below. Twins John and Edward performed “Oops I Did It Again” by Britney Spears, which is the worst X Factor performance according to Simon Cowell.

X Factor twins John and Edward, dubbed the “double divas from Dublin”, had “the worst live performance” in X Factor history, as Simon Cowell said. Cowell even likened it to The Exorcist. However, the highly-critical judge said that the X Factor twins John and Edward and their fun and fearless performance had made him like them more.

Simon Cowell started out his critique of the Britney Spears “Oops I Did It Again” performance of the X Factor twins John and Edward by saying:

“My initial reaction was, ‘What the bloody hell was that?’”

Cowell then added, stating:

“…arguably the worst live performance I’ve ever sat through in all these years of doing the show.”

Simon had said before that the X Factor twins had “likability issues” in the past, especially after making other X Factor contestants cry. But in this performance, the twins John and Edward, for some reason, happened to make themselves likeable to Cowell. Complete with shiny red PVC suits like that in the Britney Spears “Oops I Did It Again” video, the X Factor twins indeed gave the worst X Factor performance ever.

The X Factor twins John and Edward even tried to copy Britney’s dance moves, but to no avail. They were never in sync and their voices were just off tune. Though many have complained about and went against the criticisms of Simon Cowell, the Britney Spears “Oops I Did It Again” performance of the X Factor twins John and Edward is indeed the worst Factor performance in the history of the show – regardless if they became more likeable to Simon Cowell.

Watch Winnie Arboleda of Burger King attack a fan at a PBA game against the Smart-Gilas Pilipinas team. Winnie Arboleda, point guard for the Burger King Whoppers of the Philippine Basketball Association, attacked Alain Katigbak, a fan at courtside, by throwing four punches and kick, which merited him a suspension without pay for the rest of the 2009-2010 season.

Arboleda will reporteldy lose around P2.7 million of his basketball salary because of the suspension without pay for attacking the fan. PBA Commissioner Sonny Barrios revealed that the BK Whopper point guard asked for forgiveness for his actions regarding the “Arboleda attacks fan” incident.

Barrios said that Arboleda was ready to face the consequences of his actions, which he attributed to the fan’s cursing. The basketball commissioner added:

“I told him so unfortunately for us, Winnie in a situation where we are, walang acceptable reason once you cross the line of hurting fans, there’s no acceptable reason, and he accepts that fact.”

Barrios also addressed the fans who watch the PBA basketball games:

“We would like to encourage our fans to be more responsible when they watch games, let’s cheer not jeer.”

Winnie Arboleda delivered a formal apology to his team, the PBA, the fans, and to the fan he attacked, Katigbak:

“I take full responsibility and express regret over the unfortunate incident that involved me and a PBA fan during the Burger King- SMART Gilas game on 16 October 2009.”

He still, however, attributed the “Arboleda attacks fan” incident to the incessant cursing of Katigbak, saying:

“My action was provoked by the incessant name-calling and cursing uttered by the said fan particularly to me each time I was within hearing distance. The continuous barrage of invectives and insults towards my person, my family and my team were just too difficult to withstand,” he explained.

Arboleda, the veteran basketball player, also urged the PBA to do something about the “provocations and invectives directed towards specific players” by fans.

Alain Katigbak said that he is ready to file a case of physical injuries against the basketball veteran for the “Arboleda attacks fan” incident. Atty. Angelo Agcaoili, lawyer of Katigbak, stated:

“Sa totoo lang, nang-asar ang kliyente ko, sinabihan nya matanda na sila at wag na sila manakit ng bata, pero hindi siya nag-mura. [In all honesty, my client drew insults, saying that the player was old and he shouldn't hurt kids, but he never cursed.]”

The lawyer revealed that Katigbak wants a much harsher punishment for Arboleda, pushing that the basketball player be banned from playing in the PBA for life.

Watch the video of the Greenbelt 5 shootout and Rolex store robbery below. Six heavily armed robbers in black bomb squad uniforms were in a shootout with the security escorts of Taguig City Mayor Freddie Tinga after robbing a Rolex watch store in Greenbelt 5.

One of the robbers was killed in the Greenbelt 5 shootout http://www.timesnewsnetwork.com/greenbelt-5-shootout/ at the Rolex store. Mayor Tinga was having lunch with relatives in a restaurant when several gunshots were heard, which he did not know involved his escorts, at around 11:50 AM.

Greenbelt 5 has been opened to the public already, while the Rolex watch store remains closed pending investigation.

Obama ends “don’t ask-don’t tell” at Human Rights Campaign (VIDEO)

President Barack Obama vowed to end military discrimination towards gays, especially the infamous “don’t ask-don’t tell” policy. Obama admitted, though, that these policy changes, especially the gay military ban, he had promised since the campaign trail have not come as soon as planned.

At the Human Rights Campaign annual dinner, Obama vowed:

“I will end ‘don’t ask-don’t tell.’”

The US President also commended the patriotism of homosexuals in the military and condoned the military gay ban by adding:

“We should not be punishing patriotic Americans who have stepped forward to serve the country. We should be celebrating their willingness to step forward and show such courage… especially when we are fighting two wars.

He did not, however, declare a timetable or any more specific details regarding the military gay ban. Obama instead reassured the crowd at the Human Rights Campaign dinner that progress regarding the military gay ban issue will come:

“I appreciate that many of you don’t believe progress has come fast enough. Do not doubt the direction we are heading and the destination we will reach.”

Apart from the discrimination that homosexuals face in the military, President Obama also called on Congress to repeal the Defense Of Marriage Act. The act details and limits how state, local, and federal bodies can recognize partnerships and thus determine benefits. He pushed for a law to extend benefits to domestic partners which will definitely advantageous for gay partnerships and marriages.

Overall, Obama expressed strong and reassuring support for the Human Rights Campaign agenda. It seems that the president is unwavering in his resolve at ending discrimination against gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgendered people. Whether it be regarding the military gay ban or any other form of sexual discrimination, Obama stated:

“My expectation is that when you look back on these years you will look back and see a time when we put a stop against discrimination … whether in the office or the battlefield.”

David Letterman exposed sexual affairs with his employees in what he says is an extortion plot against him. The David Letterman apology also included his staff on the Late Show who had been involved in the sex scandal affair. He added that he will try to patch things up with wife Regina, whom he has a 5-year-old son with named Harry. Letterman said about his wife:

“She has been horribly hurt by my behavior, and when something happens like that, if you hurt a person and it’s your responsibility, you try to fix it.”

“I’m terribly sorry that I put the staff in that position. Inadvertently, I just wasn’t thinking ahead. My thanks to the staff for, once again, putting up with something stupid I’ve gotten myself involved in.”
