Reports indicate that talks on Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” concert ticket refunds are still on the works. The concert was supposed to give 50 nights worth of The King of Pop Michael Jackson performances in the O2 arena.

A lot of factors need to be taken in before a final decision is made on how to refund the tickets bought by around 750,000 people. The most glaring of all is Michael Jackson’s cause of death. And since Michael Jackson’s cause of death is still unknown and toxicology tests will hopefully reveal this after four to six weeks, people who purchased tickets have been asked to be more patient. The sharing of expenses by the insurer of the concert and AEG Live, the Los Angeles-based tour operator that handled the planned Michael Jackson concerts at the O2 Arena, will be determined largely by Michael Jackson’s cause of death. AEG Live has stated though that the mechanics for Michael Jackson “This Is It” concert ticket refunds will be announced later this week.

Other people have claimed, though, that they will not ask for a refund on their Michael Jackson concer tickets. They say that it will serve as their ultimate remembrance of The King of Pop and that as the supposed final concert of Michael Jackson, will serve as an investment and will easily increase in value over time.
