The autopsy results of Boyzone singer Stephen Gately revealed that he died of natural causes. Gately was recently found dead in a house on Mallorca, a Spanish resort island.

“The signer of the British group Boyzone died from natural causes, owing to an ‘acute pulmonary edema’.”

“The autopsy carried out this morning showed there were no signs of violence to the body.”

Last Saturday, Stephen Gately was found dead in a house near Port d’Andratx in Mallorca. Gately went there with his partner Andrew Cowles.

Stephen Gately was a member of Boyzone, the biggest boybands from Ireland in the 1990s. The death of Stephen Gately comes at a timely moment, especially when Boyzone had announced a comeback tour at the end of last year.

The Stephen Gately autopsy results finally put to rest issues about his death, which included foul play. His body may now be brought back to Ireland.
