Watch David Letterman apologize to his wife and staff for his extramarital affairs on national TV in the video below. Letterman will have to ready his lawyers for his upcoming court proceedings.
UPDATE: David Letterman brought mistress Stephanie Birkitt to family trips!
The TV host apologized to his wife and staff on his first return to the Late Show since admitting his scandalous affairs with his female employees. He also added that his wife has been “horribly hurt” by his revelations on national TV. David Letterman will now probably seek legal counsel and marriage counsel after admitting in national television that he cheated on his wife and exposing affairs with his employees in what he says is an extortion plot against him.
The David Letterman apology also included his staff on the Late Show who had been involved in the scandalous, extramarital affair of the TV show host. Letterman has added that he will try to patch things up with wife Regina, whom he has a 5-year-old son with named Harry. He said about his wife:
“She has been horribly hurt by my behavior, and when something happens like that, if you hurt a person and it’s your responsibility, you try to fix it.”
The TV show host is up for a big courtroom battle and will seek the advice of his lawyers constantly regarding the matter. He will probably need marriage counseling to save his marriage with Regina. The David Letterman apology video below continued to his staff:
“I’m terribly sorry that I put the staff in that position. Inadvertently, I just wasn’t thinking ahead. My thanks to the staff for, once again, putting up with something stupid I’ve gotten myself involved in.”
On Thursday, David Letterman admitted his extramarital affairs with employees to the world on the Late Show because he said he had been victimized in an extortion plot worth $2 million. Atty. Gerald Shargel, the lawyer for the suspect, called Letterman “a master at manipulating audiences”. Shargel also admitted that he is looking forward to cross-examining Letterman during the upcoming court proceedings and legal battles.
