Watch Lady GaGa perform “Paparazzi” at the MTV Video Music Awards below. Lady GaGa came into the MTV Video Music Awards with 9 nominations, just like Beyonce.

In the end, Lady GaGa won the Best New Artist award http://www.timesnewsnetwork.com/mtv-video-music-awards-winners/, leaving her with a one out nine mark at this year’s VMAs. She also got to impressively perform “Paparazzi” during the show. The most controversial event, however, happened when Kanye West interruped Taylor Swift while delivering her acceptance speech for the Best Female Video. Swift won for “You Belong with Me” when West interrupted to say that Beyonce had the best video of the decade with “Single Ladies”.
