Manny Pacquiao to sue Mayweather for steroid accusations

Manny Pacquiao will sue Floyd Mayweather Jr., Floyd Mayweather Sr., and Golden Boy Promotions for their accusations of doping, and use of steroids and performance-enhancing drugs towards the Filipino boxing hero. Pacquiao, who has never been tested positive of any of the related substances, has had enough of the accusations hurled against him and stated:

“Enough is enough. These people, Mayweather Sr., Jr., and Golden Boy Promotions, think it is a joke and a right to accuse someone wrongly of using steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs.”

Manny Pacquiao will sue Mayweather for steroid and doping accusations.

The accusations thrown by Mayweather Sr. has derailed the anticipated megafight Manny Pacquiao VS. Floyd Mayweather because Pacquiao does not want to be tested under USADA regulations. Top Rank Promoter Bob Arum and Pacquiao believe that the USADA are partisan and that their regulations over blood testing are over the top. Pacquiao further added:

“I have tried to just brush it off as a mere pre-fight ploy but I think they have gone overboard.”

The WBO welterweight title bout pitting Manny Pacquiao VS. Floyd Mayweather, Jr. set for March 13 was called off after Mayweather pushed for Olympic-style dope testing. Pacquiao has had enough, saying that his reputation had been damaged too much already. The boxing world has been deprived of the ultimate Pacquiao-Mayweather fight as a result, with Pacquiao even planning to sue for slander, libel, and defamation:

“I have instructed my promoter, Bob Arum, head of Top Rank Inc., to help me out in the filing of the case as soon as possible because I have had people coming over to me now asking if I really take performance-enhancing drugs and I have cheated my way into becoming the No. 1 boxer in the world.”

Even without the Pacquiao VS. Mayweather boxing megafight, Pacquiao maintains his innocence and is assured of a legacy that is enviable for many boxers. Manny Pacquiao, who would have split the purse evenly in the Pacquiao-Mayweather boxing megafight, attributed his success to hard work and his faith in God, and not performance-enhancing drugs or steroids:

“I maintain and assure everyone that I have not used any form or kind of steroids and that my way to the top is a result of hard work, hard work, hard work and a lot of blood spilled from my past battles in the ring, not outside of it… I have no idea what steroids look like and my fear in God has kept me safe and victorious through all these years,” added the 31-year-old Filipino who has never tested positive.

Clearly, the Filipino icon knows that Pacquiao-Mayweather is the biggest fight in boxing, possibly ever, and has issued a bold challenge to former #1 Pound-for-pound boxer Floyd Mayweather:

“Now, I say to Floyd Mayweather Jr., don’t be a coward and face me in the ring, mano-a-mano and shut your big, pretty mouth, so we can show the world who is the true king of the ring.”

Gayweather is too cocky and has big mouth. Now he is the most hated person in the boxing world. He is worried that he has a big chance of loosing to Pacquiao and will not fight Pacman any way he can. Very obvious, he is scared. Mayweather is also a boring fighter picking weaker opponents so that he can keep winning and not taint his no lost record.

It is now very clear that the Gayweather's insistence of the not usual drug testing in the boxing sport is only a way to avoid the fight itself just like he is always avoiding being hit by his opponent in any of his boxing matches. I feel so sad that we have a supposed to be warrior but turn out to be just a hypocrite. Now all his talking only makes so much contribution to noise pollution. He should be ashamed to call himself a pound for found fighter much more an undefeated champion when his opponents are only at the low level.
