Kris Allen won AI Season 8 against fellow AI finalist, Adam Lambert. Heading into the finals, Kris was the underdog against Adam who always gave spectacular performances that the American Idol judges loved. Allen, however, would mount a stunning upset against Lambert, securing his place as the winner of American Idol Season 8.
The song, “Live Like We’re Dying” is the first single of Kris Allen. The song was initially popularized by the band, “The Script.”
