The Greenpeace Climate Change Conference ads were released in accordance with the start of the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Denmark. The Copenhagen airport was filled with the controversial Greenpeace Climate Change Conference ads, which featured altered or photoshopped images of today’s world leaders like U.S. President Barack Obama, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
The altered images of the world leaders Greenpeace Climate Change Conference ads reveals how they would possibly look like in 2020, especially if they do not act in suppressing the adverse effects of climate change and global warming. Accompanying the altered image in the ad is an apology which states:
“I’m sorry. We could have stopped catastrophic climate change… We didn’t.”
The organization believes that the controversial Greenpeace Climate Change Conference ads have been received very well by the general public. It also reveals that these Greenpeace posters have been quite popular since their release.
