The Golden Globe nominations of “Up in the Air”, a film about a corporate hatchet man looking for a new career because of the recession, include:

- Best Screenplay (Sheldon Turner)
- Best Supporting Actress (Anna Kendrick)
- Best Supporting Actress (Vera Farmiga)
Two 2010 Golden Globe nominations were earned by veteran Hollywood stars Sandra Bullock, Meryl Streep, and Matt Damon. Bullock is a 2010 Golden Globe nominee for best dramatic actress for the football film, “The Blind Side” and actress in a comedy for “The Proposal.” Streep earned her best actress Golden Globe nominations for “Julie & Julia” and “It’s Complicated.” Damon, on the other hand, was nominated for the Golden Globes for best actor and best supporting actor, for the “The Informant!” and “Invictus”, respectively.
The 2010 Golden Globes will air on January 17.
